Maple Walnut Overnight Oats

  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • ¼ cup – ½ cup of milk of choice

Topping

  • Extra walnuts
  • Maple syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon or banana slices

PREPARATION

  1. Blend walnuts in food processor until it looks almost like small grains of sand (before it turns into a powder).
  2. Place walnuts, oats, and chia seeds into a sealable container. Stir in milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup. Add a dash of cinnamon and stir until ingredients are well combined.
  3. Place container in the fridge overnight. In the morning, grab your oats for a great on-the-go breakfast, or if you have time sit down and enjoy! Also feel free to add walnuts, maple syrup, and/or fruit (such as blueberries or banana slices).
