2 croissants
2 tablespoons Basic Walnut Butter
4 slices turkey
1/2 apple, sliced
4 leaves of lettuce
Slice the croissants in half lengthwise and spread with walnut butter on the bottom half of the croissant.
Place the lettuce, turkey and sliced apple on top of the butter, then top with the other half of the croissant.
Tip: For a vegetarian version, simply replace the turkey with cheese. Adding jalapeños or pickles will give the sandwich an extra kick.
