Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

  • 1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped

  • 1 cup fresh parsley leaves, lightly packed

  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, lightly packed

  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oi

  • 1/2 cup water

PREPARATION

  1. Add all the ingredients to food processor, except for the water and olive oil. Pulse 10 times, then add the olive oil and pulse 5 more times.

  2. While processing, slowly add 1/2 cup water. Stop processing once combined and mostly smooth, about 15 seconds. Add more water depending on the desired thickness.

  3. Serve on tacos or sandwiches or as a dipping sauce for veggies or chips!
