1 avocado
1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped
1 cup fresh parsley leaves, lightly packed
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, lightly packed
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oi
1/2 cup water
Add all the ingredients to food processor, except for the water and olive oil. Pulse 10 times, then add the olive oil and pulse 5 more times.
While processing, slowly add 1/2 cup water. Stop processing once combined and mostly smooth, about 15 seconds. Add more water depending on the desired thickness.
Serve on tacos or sandwiches or as a dipping sauce for veggies or chips!
