  • 8 slices of bacon (sliced in half)
  • 16 dates, pitted and halved
  • 16 California walnut halves
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives

PREPARATION

1.  Preheat oven to 375°F.

2.  Stuff each date with ¼ ounce goat cheese and a walnut half.

3.  Wrap each date with a half slice bacon and secure with a toothpick.

4.  Assemble bacon wrapped dates in single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until crispy.
