Delight in the refreshing flavors and textures of this salad, featuring crispy bacon, juicy grapes, tangy red onion, and crunchy walnuts, all brought together with a luscious poppy seed dressing, creating a harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and nutty goodness.
1/2 C Olive oil
1/4 C Vinegar, champagne or white wine
1 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Poppy seeds
Salt and pepper to taste
6 C Broccoli florets, bite-sized pieces
1 1/2 C California walnuts, toasted
4 strips Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
1 C Red grapes, halved or quartered
1/2 C Red onion, julienne strips
To prepare dressing, whisk together oil, vinegar, honey and poppy seeds in a small bowl, season to taste with salt and pepper.
Lightly toss the salad ingredients together in a large bowl; drizzle with dressing toss again to coat. (May be prepared several hours in advance and stored tightly covered in the refrigerator.)
