Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar squares cereal
  • 1 cup walnut halves and pieces
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup no sugar added dried apples, coarsely chopped (about 1.6 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup premium white chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, toss cereal and walnuts with oil until coated.
  3. In a small bowl, stir cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to combine; sprinkle over walnut-cereal mixture. Toss to evenly coat.
  4. Spread mixture in a single layer on a large, rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Let cool completely, then stir in dried apples, dried cranberries and white chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 4 cups.
