Ingredients
Honey Gochujang Sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
- Cayenne powder or chili flakes (optional, for heat)
Snack Mix
- 6 cups toasted squares cereal
- 1 cup crunchy corn snacks
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup California Walnuts
- 1 cup cheese crackers
- 1 cup sesame sticks
- 1 cup bagel chips
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a very large mixing bowl, combine the cereal, corn snacks, pretzels, Cheeze crackers, sesame sticks, walnuts, and bagel chips.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients—melted butter, honey, gochujang, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and optional cayenne or chili flakes—until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the snack mix and stir gently with a spatula until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the coated mix evenly onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Use 2 baking sheets if necessary so they’re not overcrowded.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even coating and prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
