Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup California walnuts chopped plus 1 tablespoon for topping

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉. Spray two cups of a jumbo muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract in the bowl of electric mixer until creamy. Beat in egg yolk.
  3. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  5. Place the dough evenly into the two prepared muffin cups (about 1/2 cup in each cup).
