Gracie Norton’s Maple Walnut “Ice Cream”
DESCRIPTION
Juicy baked peaches meet creamy maple walnut 'ice cream' in this summer treat from Gracie Norton. It's sweet, refreshing and a sure crowd pleaser!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 peaches (pitted and cut in halves)
- 1/4 cup California walnuts
- Optional: honey
Preparation
- Bake peaches at 400F for 15 minutes, or until desired texture is achieved.
- Add milk, protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon to your ice cream maker (this recipe uses a Ninja CREAMi). Blend until a thick, smooth consistency is reached.
- Add California walnuts to ice cream and give an additional stir.
- Scoop ice cream into the peach halves and finish with a drizzle of honey if desired.
