Ingredients
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ½ tbsp coconut oil
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup California walnuts, roughly chopped
- 15 mini phyllo shells
- 4 oz goat cheese, divided into small pieces
- ½ cup fig spread
Preparation
- Add maple syrup, brown sugar, coconut oil, and cinnamon to a small saucepan over low heat.
- Chop walnuts into small pieces and add to pot.
- Mix together until all walnuts are well coated.
- Spread walnuts evenly on a baking sheet to cool.
- While the walnuts are cooling, place phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
- Place about 1 tsp goat cheese inside each phyllo cup and bake for 7 minutes.
- Add fig spread and maple glazed walnuts to the top of each cup before serving.
