Maple Walnut Overnight Oats
Ingredients
Maple Walnut Overnight Oats
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- ¼ walnuts
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon
- ¼ cup – ½ cup of milk of choice
Topping
- Extra walnuts
- Maple syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon or banana slices
Preparation
- Blend walnuts in food processor until it looks almost like small grains of sand (before it turns into a powder).
- Place walnuts, oats, and chia seeds into a sealable container. Stir in milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup. Add a dash of cinnamon and stir until ingredients are well combined.
- Place container in the fridge overnight. In the morning, grab your oats for a great on-the-go breakfast, or if you have time sit down and enjoy! Also feel free to add walnuts, maple syrup, and/or fruit (such as blueberries or banana slices).
