Ingredients
- 2 croissants
- 2 tablespoons Basic Walnut Butter
- 4 slices turkey
- 1/2 apple, sliced
- 4 leaves of lettuce
Preparation
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise and spread with walnut butter on the bottom half of the croissant.
- Place the lettuce, turkey and sliced apple on top of the butter, then top with the other half of the croissant.
- Tip: For a vegetarian version, simply replace the turkey with cheese. Adding jalapeños or pickles will give the sandwich an extra kick.
