Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley leaves, lightly packed
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, lightly packed
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oi
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
- Add all the ingredients to food processor, except for the water and olive oil. Pulse 10 times, then add the olive oil and pulse 5 more times.
- While processing, slowly add 1/2 cup water. Stop processing once combined and mostly smooth, about 15 seconds. Add more water depending on the desired thickness.
- Serve on tacos or sandwiches or as a dipping sauce for veggies or chips!
