Tropical Mango Walnut and Turmeric Smoothie Bowl
DESCRIPTION
This tropical yogurt based smoothie bowl is fresh and fruity. California walnuts add protein and a nutty flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup California walnuts, roughly chopped and divided
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 ripe banana, sliced
- 1/2 ripe peeled and sliced mango, divided
- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 1 (5.3-oz.) cup coconut Greek yogurt
Optional Garnishes
- Fresh raspberries
- Blueberries
- Toasted Coconut flakes
- Lime zest
- Passion fruit
Preparation
- Place 3 tablespoons walnuts, turmeric, banana, most of the mango, lime juice and yogurt in a small blender or food processor and process until smooth. Spoon into a small bowl and top with remaining walnuts and mango slices. Finish with any additional desired garnishes.
