Ashley Adkins, RN, BSN is an ICU nurse currently working in a 24-bed medical/surgical ICU unit in Mesa, Arizona. Ashley obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, and graduated with a 4.0 in August of 2015. Originally, Ashley began her career as a registered nurse on a telemetry floor, but after gaining one year of experience, she transitioned to the ICU and has been there ever since. Outside of nursing, Ashley enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family and two golden retrievers. One of Ashley’s greatest passions is inspiring nursing students and nurses to be the best nurses they can be! She has a YouTube channel, “Ashley Adkins, RN,” that she created in order to offer advice, share stories, and motivate nurses around the world. Through sharing her experiences, it is Ashley’s hope that she can touch the lives of nurses all around.
