The CWC is looking for your favorite walnut recipe! The winner will receive a $500 American Express Gift Card and recognition in the next edition of Walnut News. First and second runners up will receive $100 and $50 American Express gift cards, respectively.
All recipes must contain at least 1 tablespoon of California walnuts per serving. For example, a recipe that serves four people must contain at least ¼ cup walnuts. Recipes cannot contain other nuts. Recipes will be judged on 1) Originality (25%); 2) Appeal (25%); 3) Use of Walnuts (25%). Are walnuts an integral part of this dish? Does this recipe use walnuts in a unique way? 4) Simplicity (25%). Is this recipe simple to make? Does it call for ingredients that are easily available? Full contest rules are available at
