3 bananas
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup California walnuts, chopped
Special equipment: 6 popsicle sticks
Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Peel bananas and cut in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick through the cut side.
Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH in 20 second increments, stirring between each, until chocolate is completely melted. Transfer to a tall, narrow container and dip each banana in melted chocolate, or hold banana over the chocolate and spoon over all sides, turning to coat completely. Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon walnuts. Place on a parchment or wax paper lined tray and place in the freezer until frozen, about 2 hours.
Serve immediately or wrap individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
