Crunchy walnuts, rich cocoa powder, honey and a sprinkle of sea salt create a simple sweet and salty snack that you’ll be reaching for by the handful.
2 cups California walnuts
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1½ tsp sea salt
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spread walnuts on a baking sheet and toast for 6 minutes. Shake the pan and roast for another 6 minutes. Remove the walnuts from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
Add honey to a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds to liquefy.
Add the toasted walnuts to a medium bowl and drizzle honey on top. Mix well. Add the sea salt and cocoa powder and toss to evenly coat. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
