Moribyan’s bold, savory snack mix combines California walnuts with pretzels, toasted cereal, corn snacks and more with a sweet-spicy gochujang glaze. It’s baked until crispy and addictive.
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons gochujang
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
Cayenne powder or chili flakes (optional, for heat)
6 cups toasted squares cereal
1 cup crunchy corn snacks
1 cup pretzels
1 cup California Walnuts
1 cup cheese crackers
1 cup sesame sticks
1 cup bagel chips
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a very large mixing bowl, combine the cereal, corn snacks, pretzels, Cheeze crackers, sesame sticks, walnuts, and bagel chips.
In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients—melted butter, honey, gochujang, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and optional cayenne or chili flakes—until well combined.
Pour the sauce over the snack mix and stir gently with a spatula until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the coated mix evenly onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Use 2 baking sheets if necessary so they’re not overcrowded.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even coating and prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
