The proposed rule and referendum order to the California Walnut Board Marketing Order has been published in the Federal Register.

Who can vote:
All current California walnut growers who grew walnuts during the 21-22 season.

How to vote:
The USDA will mail ballots and ballot packets that provide a full description of the proposed amendments.
Voting will take place April 3-21, 2023. Please review and submit your signed ballot by mail no later than April 21.
It’s vitally important for you to carefully consider the amendments to the Federal Marketing Order and ensure your voice is heard.
