This Asian spiced crumble is loaded with flavor. Serve in wonton wrappers or in lettuce wraps.
2 cups California walnuts
1 1/2 cups canned black beans, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
2 tablespoons oil
Place walnuts in a food processor and pulse to coarsely chop.
Add beans, soy sauce, sesame oil and seasonings and pulse to form a crumble, scraping down the sides as needed.
Heat remaining oil in a large non-stick skillet and sauté mixture until slightly browned, stirring frequently.
