Place brie, cut side up, on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, add walnuts, maple syrup, salt and pepper to a small skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring very frequently until syrup has evaporated.
Allow brie to cool for a few minutes, transfer to serving dish and spoon maple glazed walnuts on top. Serve immediately with assorted crackers, apple slices or baguette.
