Earthy Jane’s maple walnut butter stuffed dates are a sweet-and-salty treat with irresistible texture and flavor. Creamy walnut butter is nestled inside soft dates, then topped with melted chocolate and sea salt for a crave-worthy snack or dessert.
1 cup California walnuts
2 tbsp maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt
10–12 Medjool dates
1/3 cup dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
Flaky sea salt, for topping
In a food processor, blend California walnuts, maple syrup, and sea salt until smooth and creamy (about 3–5 minutes).
Pit your dates and gently open them up. Fill each with a spoonful of maple walnut butter and pinch closed.
Place the stuffed dates on a tray and chill in the refrigerator.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth.
Drizzle over chilled dates, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
