Ingredients

Dressing

  • 1/2 C Olive oil

  • 1/4 C Vinegar, champagne or white wine

  • 1 Tbsp Honey

  • 1 tsp Poppy seeds

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Salad

  • 6 C Broccoli florets, bite-sized pieces

  • 1 1/2 C California walnuts, toasted

  • 4 strips Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped

  • 1 C Red grapes, halved or quartered

  • 1/2 C Red onion, julienne strips

Preparation

  1. To prepare dressing, whisk together oil, vinegar, honey and poppy seeds in a small bowl, season to taste with salt and pepper.

  2. Lightly toss the salad ingredients together in a large bowl; drizzle with dressing toss again to coat. (May be prepared several hours in advance and stored tightly covered in the refrigerator.)
