Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Walnut “Meat” with Cauliflower and Cannellini Beans

  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

  • 1 small leaf green leaf lettuce, halved

  • 2 medium tomato slices

  • 1 small very thin slice red onion, halved

  • 2 Hawaiian sweet rolls, halved horizontally

  • 2 Tablespoons low-sodium shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Stir together Walnut “Meat” with Cauliflower and Cannellini Beans and barbecue sauce in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to heat.

  2. Microwave walnut barbecue mixture on HIGH or cook for 30 seconds or in a medium skillet set over medium heat until hot.

  3. Place lettuce, tomato and onion on roll bottoms. Top with hot walnut mixture and cheese. Close sandwiches and serve.
