Food Safety

California walnuts are handled with great care and attention to bring customers the best quality product.

Growers

More than 99% of the walnuts in the U.S. are grown in the fertile soils of California’s Central Valley. And this is made possible by the efforts of the 4,500+ family farms that have been growing walnuts of the highest quality for over a century.

Handlers

California walnuts supply three-quarters of the world’s walnut trade. This can be attributed to not only the growing popularity of walnuts, but also the quality consciousness of the walnut handlers that has helped California walnuts become more sought after by consumers.
